Look into your eye, do you see that sty br As I have seen it many times before br Though you said it was not there,   br But in your mirror you still stare, br So once again that sty you ignore. br When you are walking, and of course talking br About every person in your life br Tell me do you ever see it, br And from the discomfort do you feel it br That sty that’s in your eye. br br What do you see, and what do you believe br When someone has it worse that you br Do you point out their imperfection br And say that they need a correction br Tell me what do you think and do. br You always judge, and hold onto a grudge br And live it with unhappiness and a lie br As though your not happy with your life br So you ridicule others with strife br So you forget about the sty thats in your eye. br br You falsely accuse, and you use and abuse br With a glimmer and a joke and a smile br You point out another persons fault br And that persecution from you will not halt br As you do it with anger and hate and vile. br You've seen the mistakes, that others makes br And you'll remember them till the day you die br But until the moment from life you leave br Other persons failings you will always see br Wished you could see the sty in your own eye.
