br TRICK OR TREAT br br Ghouls and ghosts invade the night br The graveyard’s such an eerie sight br With rolling fog above the trees br The silence is broken by the rustling leaves br br Children clothed in scarves and hats br Telling tales of witches and rats br As they carry lanterns to guide their way br This Halloween when fairies play br br Gathered together with masks and sacks br They huddle in doorways some back to back br From all the neighbours on their street br They receive lots of goodies for trick or treat br br The night will end with whoops of joy br Fun was had by both girl and boy br Now off to bed and so to dream br Looking forward to next Halloween br br Goodnight children everywhere!br br Patricia Darcybr br
