Windsor Guadalupe Jr - Rain Over Tormented Cities

Windsor Guadalupe Jr - Rain Over Tormented Cities

Do you think it obscured? br The peculiar drizzle br A symphonic cascade, like felines br Trampling over the rooftops br Where we slumber under and wake br Over like the Sun away from the br Silent hills partitioned by br Their uncanny laughter? br br I wander over the mountainside, br Underneath the moon and its kindred: br The anguished roads and macadamized walls br Of angst-ridden joys. br And I find all the petty liaisons: br The petals moored to the body of lustful flowers, br These licentious flowers susurrating fables br Of petal-whirs, latticed to stems of infinite br Slenderness, the gaudy thorns protruding br Like arms - the arms of my love gone with br The wind - the transient waltz of the wind br With my clenched soul that struggles like br How love battles the ambivalence and br The somnolence of the stars; The thorns br Meshed to the slender stem, brandishing br The flowers - the beau of the prolix garden br Where this flower is tethered to, yet unspoken br As it desiccates together with the serrated grass. br I walk the streets and pluck the flower br And here, she is secured, this lissome wonder. br br I thirst for the blood of your petals, br The fire of your stem, and the sifting of your br Flagrant thorns. br Where shall I recompense to acquire br A brief time in this resolute quagmire br To get to caress your fringes, your inflorescence, br And sequester your sapid aroma that evanesces br To the tormented streets, coalescing with the drizzle. br And so in here, br I let your blossoms meld with the drizzle, br As they cascade over me.
