i wish i was a little girl br still tripping on my laces br or sprawled across the floor with crayons br coloring silly faces. br i wish i was still small enough br to sit on daddy's knee br or up on his shoulder br when i was too short to see. br i wish i still cried br over things like broken toys br instead of broken hearts br over things like stupid boys. br i wish it still felt br like the summer had no end br instead of flying past br before i even know what happend. br i wish my purple sock br still matched perfect with my red br and i still wore pink footsie pajamas br everynight to bed. br but wishing wont bring back br the things that i had br so i'll take the sweet with the sour br and the good with the bad. br and i'll look for the rainbows br that mark the storms end br and go diving into puddles br with you, my special friend.
