A cold Christmas eve, a long time ago br a young boy watched out the window at the snow br as it fell to the ground finally covering the grass br the first Christmas snow arrived finally at last. br br Out in the kitchen his mother was stirring br a warm cocoa drink, for the cold night occurring. br Next to the fire, in the snug living room br sat a plate full of cookies all ready to consume. br br When all of a sudden the front doorbell rang. br followed by music the carolers sang. br Opening the door a wonder was found br the magic of Christmas in the beautiful sounds. br The carolers sang out of a Christmas long ago. br They sang of a sleigh that would dash through the snow. br They sang of the yuletide, of loving and joy. br Just the right songs to touch br the heart of a boy. br br The sang about reindeer, of how toys would appear. br they sang of being good because Santa was near. br Then a very special song made the evening just right br a song of the baby born that Silent Night. br br Mother invited them all for cookies inside br and warm cocoa for all with marshmallows beside. br When the time finally came, for the carolers to dismiss, br one final song, a Merry Christmas wish. br br Mother then hugged her son as she tucked him in bed br as the music of Christmas now rang in his head. br With a kiss on the cheek, she wished him good night br the little boy smiled, everything was alright. br br The Christmas Eve snow had arrived just in time br As the little boy slept the midnight bell chimed. br Christmas had arrived what a wonderful sight br in a magical way that could snowy night.
