Paige M. Johnson - Goodbye Butterfly

Paige M. Johnson - Goodbye Butterfly

Goodbye, to my, little butterfly br I keep your imprint, tucked deeply, in to my mind br The pieces of me, that you have brushed br Are cold and brusied, by your gentle touch br You, were so beautiful, but now, not so much br For the butterflies cheeks were warm and flushed br But now they hold darkness, with the strength, of a single ray br But they hold nothing, nothing, for me, I daresay br Raindrops, fall gently, br My tears, they just fall br Is nobody willing to catch them all? br br Goodbye, to my, sweet little butterfly br My heart, beats sad songs, for the memories br And my soul, shakes violently, for you, I held so much br Taken upon myself, to do justice right, just for you br I said goodbye br br Goodbye, to my, cold little butterfly br As you float along, the frigid winter, of this life br Thinking, drifting, living these lies br And yet its my fault, I could not make them fly br And so, dearly so, I have let you go br Only to hope, you will find your own way br br Goodbye, to my, little butterfly br forever may you fly, without a care, in the skybr br Paige M.
