Make your poems Memorable, br That's what I say. br No need to be incredible, br Just let them play. br br Read them with your inner voice, br Write them that way too. br Hear the music in those words, br This I'm telling You. br br In ancient times these poems were songs br Remembered off by heart. br At least you'd call them statements, br Knowledge to impart. br br Iambic metre's very common yes, br And so of course is rhyme: br To make these verses remembered br Through the course of time. br br Yet verse is best as poetry, br Lyrical if you will. br We have to write with feeling, br And give the reader a thrill.
