Sameer Ahsan - In The Lap Of Nature

Sameer Ahsan - In The Lap Of Nature

Plaguing days at noon br Scorching sunshine in the month of June br I visited an orchard. br Saw mangoes laded on the trees br That entices the flies and bees br Singing and dancing up and down br In the orchard all round. br br Easterly wind blew very cool br At one stroke calmed full br And filled the holes by some owes. br Enchanting of cuckoos and sparrows br Relieved from a deep sorrow, br And gave a feeling of nature's boon br Such was the song's tune. br br There I lay under the bower br Real pleasure did it shower br And took a breath very deep br In the lap of nature fell asleep. br And dreamt like not; as ever before br And loved the tranquility for sure! br br For a while, out of the worldly pain br Wish to visit again and again, br And owe to the God, for its gift, br What has been endowed to us indeed! br The birds, trees, animals and flowers, br Benefiting every moment every hour br Despite, it's exploitation is unstopped br knowing the benefit, knowing the loss.
