Mummy is a praying mantis br her head bowed, her hands clasped, br her knees bent. br From dusk to dawn br in her position, humble br she sees only the things below. br br I want to raise her up br and make her stand straight br and tell her to look up br to the heavenly skies. br br I want to tell her that down there br crawls the little creatures br who want her humiliation, br and up there is her creator br who wants her humility. br br Mummy is too yielded now br shaped like the praying mantis br her head abidingly bowed br her hands abidingly clasped br her knees abidingly bent. br br I could try to raise her upright br and say br leave the crawling creatures br who demand your humiliation br and raise your head to the heavenly skies br for your creator who delights br in your humility; br but I would break her.
