Today I looked at her face br Her way of looking at me br My attempt to crudely assess br If she only fakes to be happy! br br I noticed how parted her lip br When she spoke if twinkled her eyes br If her words fell gently or steep br Is she happy or hiding her cries! br br I tried to read her face's lines br Looked to find on it a trace br If were laid there some signs br Crying loudly of hidden distress! br br Can't say it was much of a success br For my eyes were biased lovingly br To read only one thing from her face br That she is quite happy with me!br br Pradip Chattopadhyaybr br
