God did an amazing wondrous thing, br When he achieved his goal, br He left a blueprint of his plan, br Imprinted on our soul. br br But this plan is wisely guarded, br And can only be unlocked br When truth and wisdom are regarded br And ignorance is blocked br br A mighty task it may seem to some, br Our life's purpose to reveal br So God gave us all a mentor br This knowledge to unseal br br A teacher then comes into our life br And guides us on our way br As we learn the many mysteries br That surround us everyday. br br The teacher has this special task br He uses paper pen and ink br And frees our hearts and minds and souls br By teaching us to think br br So today we are so grateful, br And pray with all our might br For the ones that God has chosen br To lead us to the light.
