Improvisation 09 26 2014 br Original 03 03 2011 br br br br OVERTURE TO LIFE GHOST: br br br Overture: the garden full br Has eaten a ‘conscience' br Stream into thought in green br Rain condescends to color br Peaks to form rainbows br People come to see them and br Ask foolishly - when br Will temperament springs creep br Rooting eternally unseen and br Unheard -the two interceding br The kingdom will not fall br From colors known to sound as br Unfamiliar inner spirit needs... br A primate never looks up br But within -primates need br The intercept life: A bed on br Which to lay to meditate br The length of spring br Word forms in true satisfaction br Leaving none inside the rainbows br And nothing in the conscience br Word re-represents more truth br True song begins and ends br Inside gardens full of old and br New testaments - life longwise br Smothered colors discovered br Begin to lose the green to br Turn true to brown -colors of br The rainbow are falling down br Winter made her bed and slept br Gardens died to look ‘unkept' br Life goes on as colored streaks br Ghosts: does a sugar mill leave br A sweet in the ground br Deaths: sweat dries to salt br It is all bled from the soul br To slaves dug up from ore of br Ancient gardens -a fermenting br Spirit grows wild in the care br Of check points and zoo keepers br These are not the better angels br The better angels are ghosts br Seen like rainbows and br Colors we understand. br br br Lee Mack copyright 2009.
