It might be a popular festival of Bihar, Jharkhand and the eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh (UP), but Chhath puja - the ancient Hindu festival is gaining importance amongst the Bihari migrants in Gujarat too. As dusk set in, a large group of devotees assembled on the ghats to offer their "arghya" to the Sun god.
