Alexandra Isnard - The Death of My Love

Alexandra Isnard - The Death of My Love

Today I finally dug a hole in the ground br It took me much courage br but inside me was a feeling so profound br I was convinced it was to my advantage. br br For so long I have given my love freely br to the one man I met eighteen years back br All of my heart belonged to him only br and his name there was written on a golden plaque. br br Life together was not always rosy br many a time it was more of a battlefield br and time changed us both enormously br what we carry today is just a defensive sheild. br br You used to see in me nothing more but wonders br now plagued severely with so much flaws br I wish you would stop and ponder br on whether the hole is for a good cause br for today my love for you died.
