The Nigerian extremist group Boko Haram extremists has intensified raids on overland trade routes in the Central African country of Chad and two of its neighbors, Cameroon and Nigeria, stealing local livestock. Such raids, which have intensified in recent weeks, are cutting off Chadians from the lucrative cattle trade, the country's second biggest income earner.
