Surat: Like the developed world, residents of Surat would soon be issued 'S-Connect Card', a pre-paid smart card that could be used to swipe-pay for the services provided by Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC). These services include Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS), Blue Line bus service, zoo, aquarium, swimming pools and even paying municipal taxes and license fee.
