Will you place a rose upon my grave br To let everyone know where I am resting br Please do not be scared, but be brave br This is not a command, but only a requesting br Underneath the earth where I will lay br Where forever I will be sleeping br And through GOD I will be awakened one day br So for now please let there be no weeping br br On my grave will you leave a single rose br And recite to me one of your written prose br You may think I am not there, but I will be listening br Happy I will be as my grave you will be christening br Death it is not to forget, but it is to remember br And the grave is just a resting spot for a life’s member br So please come by and be happy I suppose br And on my grave, please leave a single rose. br br Randy L.
