i just found a secret door. br br a door i knew of once before. br br many years ago, br i slammed it shut. br covered up. locks with no key. br believing of the path it promised br i wasn't worthy. br br so i hit the ground running br down a rockier path, br as it's loose tripping stones br bruised me in just the right places. br br knowledge of this secret door and it's keeper were not permitted, br as the decision made to close it br meant closing off a piece of myself. br it's memory reminded of what was stifled, br a part of me far too vital. br br a few days ago, via a massive curve ball from the Universe br i was delivered right back to this door. br upon first sight, it erased my amnesia. br stunned, i see light remains still, br creeping through the cracks of it's hinges and pristine locks. br br and now, unlike before, i think i want what is behind this door more.......
