Francis Duggan - Like Murphy's Law

Francis Duggan - Like Murphy's Law

We all have a life's journey to undertake br And out of what we have only the most we can make br Even the circumstance of birth is like the luck of the draw br For millions life it surely is like Murphy's Law br For each day brings them hardship and adds to their woe br And happiness they are not meant for to know br For them it does seem uphill all of the way br And that's how it will be till their last night and day br To be born to poor parents is their only crime br And they look middle aged though only in their prime br Their children like them born into poverty br 'Tis a vicious circle would you not agree br Few of them ever live on to grow old and gray br Life's not meant to be easy not for many anyway.
