ENTITLED SIMPLY 'ME' br br I sauntered through a gallery br Which contained unusual art br Immediately my attention was drawn br To the subliminal message part br For here the artist tries to show br In terms of multicolour br Interpetations of his sketchy thoughts br To transfer to another br br At some I strained with twisted neck br Was this way up or down br With facial expressions weird I'm sure br Incorportated much with frowns br For to this most enlightened mind br I thought what this might be br But sure enough I missed the boat br When the title was plain to see br br I couldn't seem to figure out br The artists point of view br Of course just being my first time br What was a man to do br Approaching now the final one br That hung upon the wall br That sturdy frame of elegance br Standing sure and tall br br I became a real conniseur br At this particular art br But there was just a little twist br Its secret I'll impart br For lo and behold before my eyes br For all the world to see br A picture of a mirror was drawn br Entitled simply 'ME' br br Copyright Gary James Smith br Sept l3,2010br br Gary James Smithbr br
