On the day after Republicans swept the midterm elections, President Obama says he got the message loud and clear.br br SOUNDBITE: PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA, SAYING:br br "To everyone who voted, I want you to know that I hear you."br br When the new Congress convenes in January, Republicans will have control of both houses.br br Obama says he thinks he can have a productive relationship with new Senate leader Mitch McConnell.br br SOUNDBITE: PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA, SAYING:br br "He has always been very straight forward with me.
