Terry Donovan - Jumper

Terry Donovan - Jumper

He stood a while upon the window ledge br And thought about the good times and the bad br He cursed the mem'ry of that broken pledge br And memories of what he never had. br Through little fluffy clouds the sun shone down br And buttercups and grass pushed up below br A fleeting smile replaced his normal frown br Now he'd decided which way he would go. br Farewell he thought to ev'ry foe and friend br To those who'd cry and those who wouldn't care. br At least they'd have to think about his end br And wonder who to blame for his despair. br He jumped, he fell, but did he feel a prat - br Rememb'ring he lived in a ground floor flat.
