A sky of grizzly angry grey br Foreboding, opens up the day. br The butterflies, the wasp, the bee, br The birds that should be on the tree, br Stay hidden, loath to venture out. br The spider dallies in the spout. br Flower petals stay shut tight, br Still waiting for the end of night. br And then appears a patch of blue, br The clouds relax to let it through br And slow but sure out comes the sun br And suddenly the day's begun - br A summer day of life and hope, br Despondent once, now all can cope. br The flowers open up and smile. br All life returns - in country-style.
