Have you ever stopped to think br Taken one thought about the Lord; br Or considered this Earth you stand upon br Did you ever read in God's Word? br br That there are three heavens; br The first contains the air br The second holds the whirling shperes br The third? well God dwells there. br br In the first there are the clouds br The winds that blow, the rain br Where birds fly on a summers day br And sing their sweet refrain. br br In the second there is the sun br The moon and stars at night br This heaven bears the spinning orbs; br Appoints their path of flight. br br In the third God does dwell br Above all time and space; br Who controls all things by his great hand br And sustains all by his grace.
