Ambers of the road taking you home br To make love- br In the bed next to your quieted sisters, br And down the little meanders br Where your children resonate everyday: br Echoing as if brandy: br And I cannot say this is a poem, br But another broken wing on a bird that br Pretends to be beautiful, br Just hoping to draw the attention br Of the airplanes, br As they steal all of the prettiest sororities br And make a picnic with them in the clouds.
