An elderly woman caused a multiple vehicle pile-up on Wednesday when she slowly walked across a busy road during rush hour in southwest China municipality of Chongqing. A bus had to brake sharply to avoid hitting her in the middle of the road, before veering into the opposite lane and striking a truck head-on. The bus then spun round, knocked over the woman and hit a second bus.br br At least 10 of the bus passengers were slightly injured and the elderly woman suffered multiple bone fractures.
