I. br Lucasta wept, and still the bright br Inamour'd god of day, br With his soft handkercher of light, br Kist the wet pearles away. br br II. br But when her teares his heate or'ecame, br In cloudes he quensht his beames, br And griev'd, wept out his eye of flame, br So drowned her sad streames. br br III. br At this she smiled, when straight the sun br Cleer'd by her kinde desires; br And by her eyes reflexion br Fast kindl'd there his fires.
