John Keats - Hymn To Apollo

John Keats - Hymn To Apollo

GOD of the golden bow, br And of the golden lyre, br And of the golden hair, br And of the golden fire, br Charioteer br Of the patient year, br Where---where slept thine ire, br When like a blank idiot I put on thy wreath, br Thy laurel, thy glory, br The light of thy story, br Or was I a worm---too low crawling for death? br O Delphic Apollo! br br The Thunderer grasp'd and grasp'd, br The Thunderer frown'd and frown'd; br The eagle's feathery mane br For wrath became stiffen'd---the sound br Of breeding thunder br Went drowsily under, br Muttering to be unbound.
