Carla Jean Laglia Esely - A Christmas Salute

Carla Jean Laglia Esely - A Christmas Salute

The setting sun, with it's hueful glow br it set for some, so long ago. br It was far away, that place they went br they stood the line, are yet unbent. br While time has passed, should our memory wane br but remember now, less they passed in vain. br They did for us, what they had to do br for God and Country, for me and you. br Life goes on, as we know it must br but what they gave, shall stand in trust. br Night stalks the land, with stars so bright br wherever you are, remember their might. br The numerous brave, gave so much for you br will never see, our star shine through. br Dance and sing, while you deck the halls br with glowing lights, and sparkling balls. br Enjoy the feast, that's yours this day br but remember those, who've paid the way.
