Once a day and sometimes more br I look out my day dream door br To see if spring is out there yet br I'm really anxious, but mustn't fret. br br I see the snow a melting down br and lots of mud and slush around br I know the grass will surely sprout br and birds and flowers will come about. br br But why oh why does it take so long? br I'm sure the calendar can't be wrong. br Sunshine fills my heart with cheer br I wish that spring were really here. br br Soon mother nature will sound the alarm br Wake up! get dressed, turn on your charm br Winter's gloom has gone its way br It's Spring!
