Marion Michaels - Dancing Leaves

Marion Michaels - Dancing Leaves

(In Best Poems of 1998) Red, yellow leaves turned ashen gray br On that bright October day. br Will cold winds blow more, snow more, no more br Dancing Leaves? br Or, to ease my numbing pain, br Will you come to me again br Along with flowing, snowing, blowing br Dancing Leaves? br And we'll waltz to the autumn breeze, br Tango all around the trees, br Amid the swirling, twirling, whirling br Dancing leaves.
