Did you ever stop and wonder br Why time goes by so fast. br You did all you could to slow it down br But it just didn't last. You grew up, then you married br You weren't wasting any time. br Then things got so complicated br You almost lost your mind. You have six kids and a husband br You have to work very hard br If you are not cleaning or cooking br You are working in the yard. You get the kids off to school br After every one is fed. br You wash the dishes, check the time br And then you go to bed. Then when the kids are all grown up br And boy are you glad. br You look back through the years br Then your heart feels sad. By then you are in your forties br Or maybe forty-five. br You stretch out on the sofa br And thank God you are alive. There are lots of things you need to do br if you could make up your mind. br you sit back and take it easy br Thinking, I have plenty of time.br br Zady M.
