Hugo Williams - Toilet

Hugo Williams - Toilet

I wonder will I speak to the girl br sitting opposite me on this train. br I wonder will my mouth open and say, br 'Are you going all the way br to Newcastle?' or 'Can I get you a coffee?' br Or will it simply go 'aaaaah' br as if it had a mind of its own? br br Half closing eggshell blue eyes, br she runs her hand through her hair br so that it clings to the carriage cloth, br then slowly frees itself. br She finds a brush and her long fair hair br flies back and forth like an African fly-whisk, br making me feel dizzy. br br Suddenly, without warning, br she packs it all away in a rubber band br because I have forgotten to look out br the window for a moment. br A coffee is granted permission br to pass between her lips br and does so eagerly, without fuss. br br A tunnel finds us looking out the window br into one another's eyes. She leaves her seat, br but I know that she likes me br because the light saying 'TOILET' br has come on, a sign that she is lifting br her skirt, taking down her pants br and peeing all over my face.
