Norman Rowland Gale - A Prayer

Norman Rowland Gale - A Prayer

Tend me my birds, and bring again br The brotherhood of woodland life, br So shall I wear the seasons round br A friend to need, a foe to strife; br br Keep me my heritage of lawn, br And grant me, Father, till I die br The fine sincerity of light br And luxury of open sky. br br So, learning always, may I find br My heaven around me everywhere, br And go in hope from this to Thee, br The pupil of Thy country air.
