John Wesley - Hymn XVIII: Father, Saviour of Mankind

John Wesley - Hymn XVIII: Father, Saviour of Mankind

Father, Saviour of mankind, br Who hast on me bestowed br An immortal soul, designed br To be the house of God; br Come, and now reside in me, br Never, never to remove; br Make me just and good, like thee, br And full of power and love. br br Bid me in thy image rise, br A saint, a creature new, br True, and merciful, and wise, br And pure, and happy too. br This thy primitive design, br That I should in thee be blest, br Should within the arms divine br For ever, ever rest.
