I dreamt your suicide note br was scrawled in pencil on a brown paperbag, br & in the bag were six baby mice. The bag br opened into darkness, br smoldering br from the top down. The mice, br huddled at the bottom, scurried the bag br across a shorn field. I stood over it br & as the burning reached each carbon letter br of what you'd written br your voice released into the night br like a song, & the mice br grew wilder.
