Robert Frost - The Flower Boat

Robert Frost - The Flower Boat

The fisherman's swapping a yarn for a yarn br Under the hand of the village barber, br And her in the angle of house and barn br His deep-sea dory has found a harbor. br br At anchor she rides the sunny sod br As full to the gunnel of flowers growing br As ever she turned her home with cod br From George's bank when winds were blowing. br br And I judge from that elysian freight br That all they ask is rougher weather, br And dory and master will sail by fate br To seek the Happy Isles together.
