Edward James - Writer's Block

Edward James - Writer's Block

I sit down peacefully with my book. br Upon the blank page I look. br As i tap my pen patiently, patiently, br Patiently waiting in my writing nook. br br Soon ideas I begin to see, br Like ships setting out to sea; br And as my pen moves they flow, flow, br Flow graciously out of me. br br But today is not the same. br Ideas are stuck in my brain, br As i sit and think, think, br Think of something lame. br br And it is to my simple shock, br That i have no ideas in stock, br For today I'm afraid I'm stuck, stuck, br Stuck in a writer's block.
