Bernard Shaw - Vagabond.

Bernard Shaw - Vagabond.

They called me a Vagabond, br But I was a King of the Road. br My word was a solemn bond. br I was not the man to goad. br Free as the air I went on my way, br My head held high for all to see. br I worked on farms for very low pay, br It was just enough to keep me. br Luxury I had foresworn it was just a bubble, br Fresh air, Nature’s beauty was all I craved. br To make a bed of ferns was no trouble, br My day dreams my sanity saved. br If you ever meet a King of the Road, br A vagabond he may well be. br Know that he would not change his load, br For he is a free man just like me.
