Rajaram Ramachandran - The Wise Client

Rajaram Ramachandran - The Wise Client

A pleader in a Lordship's Court br Advised his defaulting client br 'You say for every question br 'Bey, Bey, ' as a dumb man.' br br To every question in the Court br 'Bey, Bey' replied the client. br 'You're here, you know why? ' br 'Bey, Bey.' br br 'Did you borrow money? ' br 'Bey, Bey.' br 'Why you failed to pay? ' br 'Bey, Bey.' br br 'Cheating is a crime, I say.' br 'Bey, Bey.' br 'You'll go to jail if you don't pay.' br 'Bey, Bey.' br br The pleader interfered br And said, 'My Lord, br Never borrowed, my client, br And he's quite innocent.' br br 'He's, by birth, a dumb man, br And a penniless poor man. br Who'll give this man broken br Such an unsecured loan? ' br br 'No evidence is found br Nor there's any loan bond. br Therefore, there's no cause br To hold this useless case.' br br The Court dismissed the case. br To the pleader's demand for fees. br 'Bey, Bey, ' the client said with ease, br And walked out to his surprise.
