Bernard Shaw - Imagination.

Bernard Shaw - Imagination.

I used to play at Pirates, br br And sailed the seven seas. br br Then I was a cowboy, br br These simple things did me please. br br br br I had a vivid imagination, br br Adventure was always on my mind. br br I discovered the joys of reading, br br And escaped the daily grind. br br br br Once I lived with the Eskimos, br br In the land of ice and snow, br br Went hunting and a fishing, br br My fantasy was all aglow. br br br br I read a book of Jules Verne, br br And went off to the moon, br br It was just to take a look, br br Then it was time to return. br br br br I spent time in the forests of Africa, br br With Dr. Livingstone as my guide, br br Then off again to America, br br With Huckleberry Finn I did hide. br br br br In my world of fantasy and imagination, br br I performed such wonderful deeds. br br A Hero of all the Nations, br br I was the one that did succeed. br br br br Then I grew up my childish world at an end. br br I had become serious it nearly drove me around the bend. br br I still do like the mysterious, br br This is the message I am trying to send.
