There's a monster in my house! br It came in a great big box. br Mommy says it isn't so, br but something ate my socks. br br I used to have a full sock drawer, br with red ones and some blue. br I even had some white ones, br 'cause I wear white socks, too. br br There's a monster in my house! br It came in a great big box br and I must make it angry br or it wouldn't eat my socks. br br It lives around here, somewhere. br (whisper) Shhhh! I hope it's not around! br 'Cause if you ever wake it up, br it makes such awful sounds. br br Most times, it says, 'Yum-Yum! Yum-Yum! ' br Sometimes, it just goes 'swish'. br But, I know it eats my socks up br without a spoon or dish. br br Mom says they're underneath the bed br or spread around the floor. br (well the monster musta' burped 'em there br when she opened up the door) . br br There's a monster in my house! br It came in a great big box! br Mom says it's just the washer... br but it's a monster that eats my socks!br br C.J.
