The day the circus came to town, br my favorite was the circus clown br with his great big shoes br and funny clothes, br a painted face, br and a big red nose. br br A giant smile was painted there, br with children laughing, everywhere. br I wondered as I br looked at him, br was he frowning 'neath br his painted grin? br br Now when I am feeling down, br I think about that circus clown br with his great big shoes br and funny clothes, br a painted face, br and big red nose. br br I put a smile on, anyway br and soon, my frown just fades away br like the day the circus br came to town br and I learned it watching br the circus clown.br br C.J.
