Cecelia Weir - Angel On Parole

Cecelia Weir - Angel On Parole

I feel like an angel br On a lifetime parole. br Not sent here to live br But just sent to console. br br There are other life forms br From every planet to see. br Theres nothing we can discuss br They all seem not to know me. br br My friends misunderstand me br They crucify my ways. br I'm sure I'm not on my own br Cause I do everything and obey. br br I feel like an angel br On a jeopardizing parole. br With a hard lifetime sentence br I can't get no control. br br I tried to explain br The problems that worry me. br But this dude cut me short br Said ain't nothing free. br br Where do angels go br When they just don't fit in? br Do they return home to God br And then be sent back again? br br I feel like and angel br On a real stale parole. br I know I must be lost. br People here even get old. br br When is my draft up? br I'd rather be serving time. br Where at least I'd be peaceful br Problems wouldn't be on my mind. br br Oooh! When will these spirits br Reach from heart to heart? br But whats so sad about it br No one is willing to start. br br I feel like an angel br On the world for parole. br The shape this world is in br It hurts me to my soul. br br If only a few of us br Would agree on one thing br It wouldn't make it so hard br For a fellow to earn his wings. br br Sometimes I think its better br To just leave it all alone. br But no matter how hard it is br I got to work my way back home. br br I feel like an angel br On a lifetime parole. br And until its all over br I'll be here to console.
