Cecelia Weir - The Traveler (X'mas)

Cecelia Weir - The Traveler (X'mas)

My family were travelers br Along a rugged road. br We were with a crowd br Who carried a heavy load. br br We got slack in keeping up br The leaders were far ahead. br I was told He had to be born br But at the Inn there was no bed. br br We entered into a city br Where a star shone so bright. br It drew a mass of people br Even wise men came by night. br br We heard the cattle lowing br We heard the baby's cry. br And one man said to us br Its sad He came to die. br br I really didn't know br Just what this fellow meant. br But I later felt the power br When I learned why He was sent. br br Still I am a traveler br Telling what I was told. br Teaching of His redemption br And how His love saves the soul.
