When Christmas comes the Christmas heat'll br bring once more the Christmas Beetle br The first inflammatory breeze'll br set him buzzing like a diesel. br Hear him open up his throttle br as he hums above the wattle! br Hear him zoom, and snarl and rattle br Like a fighter plane in battle! br Watch him dive to sink and settle- br Folding up his wings of metal - br Cutting off the engines sound br as quietly as he comes to ground. br Then watch some sparrows, frail and lowly, br Strike him swiftly, rend him wholly.
