James Grengs - (Untitled)

James Grengs - (Untitled)

You are as beautiful as the delicate new-formed petal; br As fragrant as the new-bloomed rose; br Your soft eyes shine as polished metal; br You are the most perfect thing that in God's garden grows. br br More soft and gently, yes, than any; br More loving, sure, than most; br To say 'I love you, ' then, must surely be a boast. br br This humble poem I give you, br Please throw it not away; br Instead, for you to keep it with you, br Would surely make my day. br br I love you much, you see, br Though I hardly know you, br And you hardly know me.
