This is a very personal poem. I am separated and this is to each of my children br br br I'd like to wake you in the morning br See the sunrise in your hair br And then be there at sun set br Wanting, wishing to be there. br br I would like to see you sleeping br And hear your breath all through the night br I would like you to call out for me br When yet I hold you tight. br br I would like to see the magic br Still sparkling in your eyes br I would like to be just near to you br When you laugh and if you cry. br br But all this not possible br Not possible it seems br For I can only be with you br Alone within my dreams.
