Emily Moore - Catastrophic pain is surreal

Sunk beneath the violent waves br Bravery that fights and saves br Echoed power has lost its way br In the devastation of today br br A boy stands; teary eyes br Watching, as his soul dies br A lonely heart to rip and tear br ‘Remember now, ‘cause it’s not there’ br br Swirling in fires of hell br The awful words ‘we wish him well’ br Concealing what devils feel br Catastrophic pain is surreal br br Poking, prodding, laughing jokes br Clever remarks as he chokes br His solid heart is in his throat br ‘Listen’ his eyes tears do coat br br As he begins the room is dead br Everyone listens to what is said br A fragile boy, just 10 years old br Talks from his heart, the one of gold br br ‘My parents were victims to an awful attack, br The world will watch, but not fight back, br The bellows of smoke, were just a joke br To Binlaiden; he had a play, got his way br br As a result thousands were killed br People were lost and blood was spilled br We can’t help what happened then br But we can prevent it happening again br br He caused mass destruction br Binlaidens horrific construction br Lets join together as one br And make sure terror is gone’ br br Silence br br Sunk beneath the violent waves br Bravery that fights and saves br Echoed power has lost its way br In the devastation of today.
