Bill Simmons - Cowboys Day

Bill Simmons - Cowboys Day

As he steps down br His spurs kick up the sand br He has been riding for five days br He has done the best he can br br He can see the clouds that gather br The rain is sure to come br But this cowboy needs his rest br For the work still yet undone br br He lays his head upon a log br To rest his weary head br His legs out streached before him br This place is now his bed br br While he sleeps the dreams he keeps br It all will come in time br He dreams of a woman br With cattle not on his mind br br His steed is tied near his feet br In the distance the cattle call br Soon he drifts fast asleep br He is a cowboy after all.
